I'm gonna start parking my bike on the side of my house. Only problem is the 3-4 inch step. I don't want to spend a bunch of money on a ramp so I made my own. Hope this shit don't fall apart when I ride my bike over it.

And no, its not just a piece of 2' x 4'. I had to figure out how to put a lip on and reinforce it. This may be cake to some of you but to my non-handy man ass, this was a pain in the ass to make.

About $40 and 4 hours

$10 for the aluminum lip
$10 locking clasp
$20 wood and screws

I'm sure there could've been a cheaper way to make it but I didn't want to wander around home depot all day looking for the perfect parts.

I RIDE MY R1 OVER A 5 INCH CURB LIP WHENEVER I PUT IT AWAY. I GUESS IT'S EASIER FOR YOU CAUSE YOU USE UR BIKE A LOT. ANYWAY, NICE RAMP!

I have to ride over grass, then gravel, then the lip. If it was straight cement to cement, that woulda made it a lot easier. I would've been able to use a triangle piece of wood.

hey anh, ask sam to teach you how to pop a wheelie, your front wheel should go over that curb no problem with sam's technique.

EDIT: holy crap, i didnt realize this was a year old.

No can do Sonny,

1) I have to ride over grass, then gravel. Too much throttle and the rear tire will sink.
2) The path is narrow and curves slightly
3) The gate entrance is tight, my mirrors and exhaust almost touch the sides.
